Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is a UNESCO project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal network of higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) Spain. This internet website is not an official UNESCO site but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Morning:9 am - 1 pm Forum UNESCO - University and Heritage: summary and perspectives by the Representative of the UNESCO Director-General.

Synergy between academics and participants Co-operation mechanisms between National Officers for heritage and Forum UNESCO - University and Heritage.

Debate

Afternoon : 2.30 pm - 6.30 pm Plenary Session:

Scientific Committee for Forum UNESCO - University and Heritage: objectives, role, functioning and constitution.

Work groups between universities dedicated to specific issues and projects, such as urbanism and heritage, heritage and development, intangible heritage, purpose and functioning, etc.

Afternoon : 2.30pm - 6.30pm Field study of sample projects in the Medina of Fez, illustration of the co-operation between universities and ADER-Fez.
