The common work plan of the three Member States for the 2008-2009 biennium, within the framework of the New Strategy of "The Slave Route Project", is to be discussed. The participants also analyze the perspectives for the follow-up of the "Places of Memory of the Slave Route in the Latin Caribbean" Project, and the regional project "Network of Research Institutions on Afro-American Religions".

Participants also have the opportunity to visit the Historic Site of Nigua, where several identified Sites of Memory in the Dominican Republic are located.
