Since 1985, by initiative of the General Assembly of the United
Nations, December 5th was designated to celebrate the International
Day of Volunteers.
Museodata and the Museum of the National Academy of Medicine of
Colombia have joined efforts and invite volunteers of museums, heritage
and cultural institutions to celebrate this date with the following
presentations:
- Training of museum collections on the History of Medicine
- School of Museum Guides of Regional costumes
- Training programmes of Voluntary Teaching Monitors of the National
Museum of Colombia
