Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. Summary:

The organizing committee of RIPAM2 is pleased to send you, in attached file (Instructions.pdf), the guidelines for authors, for a possible publication of the RIPAM2 papers in the journal NATURALIA MAROCANA: the journal of the Museum of Natural History of the Caddy Ayyad University of Marrakech.

We have reached an agreement with this journal with the purpose of
publishing our works in a special issue devoted to the RIPAM2.

I remid you that the deadline for the reception of articles fixed 31 December has extend until 31 January 2008 in order that the participants whom still not sent their articles can do it.

The Mediterranean Sea, origin of several civilizations, for its historic works, its archaeological sites and its crafts is a cultural heritage shared by all the Mediterranean countries.

Morocco, crossroad of civilizations, has an especially rich architectonic heritage. But not only its works, materials and constructive techniques are noteworthy, the intervention of human spirit and its know how should also be studied in depth. Therefore we must preserve this heritage against threats, and safeguard it for future generations.

The initiative of the Laboratory of dynamics of basin and Geomatics of the Faculty of Semlalia Sciences, University Ayyad Caddy of Morocco, to organize the second international meeting on the Mediterranean architectonic heritage (RIPAM2).

The objective of this multidisciplinar event is to gather researchers from different specialties, with the purpose of exposing different problems for the preservation and the development of the culture of conservation of the Mediterranean architectonic heritage.

Abstract Submission deadline: 31 March 2007
Notification of acceptance and programme: 30 June 2007
