in association with the Museum du Quai Branly, the CNRS, France 24,
France Culture, Radio France Internationale, the magazine L'Histoire
et Transcontinentales, the magazine of the French network of research
institutes. |
| Summary: |
The first colloquium of the French research Institutes abroad
opens to the memories of the world and its contemporary challenges.
25 francophone scholars from the four continents will exchange their
points of view on the memory of Comunism, the memory of the great
curses of the 20th century (apartheid, partitions, genocides, wars),
on the dialog between memory and the national constructions, and
on the memory of the dominated groups centered on Germany, East
Europe, Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Yemen, India, China, Japan, South
Africa, Peru, Mexico.
