This initiative of the UNESCO office in Rabat and the CFU is
Co-organized by the Algerian Ministry of Culture and lies within
the scope of the actions on " Algiers capital of the Arabic
culture 2007".
When several countries launch out in national operations of inventory,
it seems useful a common reflection on the methodological plan is
carried out in the area.
Representatives of several European countries and Canada will
be present during the meeting, as well as the persons in charge
for the inventories of Mali, Cameroun, Senegal and Benign.
By capitalizing the various experiences presented, the objective
is to provide an assessment of the specific situation of the Maghreb
countries on this set of themes. Proposals for operational actions
are awaited, in particular following the development of a common
methodology.
