Summary:

The Professional Association de Conservators-Restaurers of Chile, together with the Historical and Military Museum of Chile, the National Center of Conservation and restoration, the International University SEK and the Chilean Committee of the international Council on Monuments and Sites, ICOMOS - Chile, is pleased to to invite you to participate in 3rd Chilean Congress on Conservation and restoration to be held in the city of Santiago, between October 24 and 26, 2007, in the facilities of the Historical and Military Museum, Av. Blanco Encalada 1550, Santiago.

Under the motto "Heritage, Conservation and Citizenship" we invite you to reflect with respect to the increasing interest that cultural heritage has reached recently and which is the role of conservators and restorers as opposed to this citizen restlessness; how it integrates or assumes this social demand in our professional practice; and what answers we provide to different interests on what is done or not with cultural heritage.
