Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. Summary:

This international workshop will bring together some 25 Africanist scholars, chairs, leaders and policy-makers to share their experiences in teaching cultural diversity and identity.

It will also contribute to the development of innovative teaching programmes that translate regional ethnographies into cultural diversity courses,in accordance with UNESCO’s work on protecting and promoting cultural diversity.
