Summary: Ms. Carmen Calvo, Minister of Culture of Spain and President of the INCP for 2007, has the pleasure of welcoming INCP Ministers and their delegates to Seville this September 20-22, 2007 for the Network’s 10th Annual Ministerial Meeting (AMM).

This year the INCP’s 10th AMM will allow Ministers to continue to pursue their important dialogue on questions related to the status of ratification and the implementation process of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. The meeting’s second session will focus on intercultural dialogue, Spain’s chosen theme for this year’s meeting.

Spain is very pleased to host the 10th AMM and help carry forward the tradition of the Network as an informal, international forum where national ministers responsible for culture can explore and exchange views on new and emerging cultural policy issues and to develop strategies to promote cultural diversity.
