| Summary: |
Following on the success of a first symposium entitled "Cultural
Diversity and Transversal Values: East-West Dialogue on Spiritual-Secular
Dynamics" that was held in Paris in November 2005, the organizers
of the two-day seminar (6-7 Nov) and public symposium (8 Nov) have
become aware of the necessity to enlarge this important dialogue.
In recognition of the fact that Cultural Diversity is key to the
survival of humankind, it is hoped that the seminar and public symposium
will contribute to moving from the "Dialogue Among
Civilizations" to the fostering of a "Civilization of
Dialogue".
