International experts will analyze the articles in the Convention
on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions
relating to international cooperation, particularly:
- articles 12 to 16 of the Convention concerning international
cooperation
- outlines of cooperation programmes and projects to develop policies
and measures as well as capacity-building in accordance with the
Convention’s guiding principles
- profiles and roles of different stakeholders concerned by the
Convention
The experts’ recommendations will be passed for information
onto the Intergovernmental Committee of the Convention that will
be convened at Ottawa (Canada) in December 2007.
The meeting has been possible with the support of the Spanish Agency
for International Cooperation.
