The meeting counts on the support of the National Commission
of Museums, Historical Monuments and Places, the Center of Documentation
of Latin American Architecture (CEDODAL), the Heritage Museum of
the Palace of Aguas Corrientes (AySA), the Historical Museum and
Archive of the Bank of the Province of Buenos Aires and the Foundation
Ortega y Gasset of Argentina.
The Colloquium will be structured in the following thematic
sections:
- Investigations on conservation, recovery and refuncionalization
of industrial heritage
- Investigation, inventory and cataloguing
- industrial Heritage and tourism
- Experiences in Didactics, diffusion and awareness
The meeting will count on routes and visits to monuments and industrial
heritage sites, conferences and exhibitions. There will be an offer
of trips to places related to the industrial past, for the days
after the meeting.
