Summary: This workshop N°3 therefore targets operators of cultural routes at all levels, whether they are part of the group of cultural routes that have already been certified, or whether they have just made a proposal: those in charge of politicians and administrators, private and public cultural and tourism operators, site managers, heritage mediators etc.

It looks to explain in a concrete manner the demands of the Council of Europe in terms of sustainable and responsible tourism and will give full information on the new approaches using specific innovative examples.

The first results of the PICTURE programme “Proactive management of the impact of cultural tourism on urban resources and economies” will be highlighted, as well as the results of a quantitative analysis of the economic analysis questionnaires for cultural routes.

Some time will be set aside for workshops that will enable project leaders to better explain their theme or to adjust them so that they correspond with the criteria of the Council of Europe and the evolution of the programme.
