Forum UNESCO-University and Heritage (FUUH) is an UNESCO Project for undertaking activities to protect and safeguard the cultural and natural heritage, through an informal networkof higher education institutions. FUUH is under the joint responsibility of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. This internet website is not an official site of UNESCO but a website created and managed by the UPV within the framework of the project FUUH.

Summary: The ICOMOS Shared Built Heritage International Scientific Committee will be hosting a conference to take place in Cape Town prior to the ICOMOS Advisory Committee meeting in Pretoria.

The conference will address issues relating to mutual architectural heritage and the benefits of closer engagement in the conservation of these resources and the exchange of expertise. The programme will include contributions from local and international speakers, as well as visits to relevant heritage sites.
