Summary:

WYSTC is the only global meeting point for key stakeholders and specialists in youth, student and educational travel.

WYSTC brings together all the sectors that serve the millions of young people who study, work, experience and travel abroad in a unique event that combines a professional conference and a trade fair.

WYSTC offers a different kind of trade environment where today’s trends are explored and opportunities for tomorrow created; where discovering new products and new partners means new business and new possibilities.

The WYSTC business to business trade fair provides a cost effective opportunity for organisations serving all aspects of the student and youth travel and international education industry, to network, learn and conduct business with each other.

Mission
WYSTC's aim is to provide the youth and student travel industry with a global event where specialist organisations gather to exchange knowledge, experience and expertise - and to trade with trusted partners.

History
WYSTC was established in 1992 as the joint trading, networking, and information sharing platform for members of the Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations (FIYTO) and the International Student Travel Confederation (ISTC).

Since its inception in 1992, WYSTC has travelled to a new global destination each year. Growing in size as well as reputation, WYSTC is now considered the community's most important, must-attend trade fair.

In 2006 the World Youth Student and Educational Travel Confederation (WYSE Travel Confederation) was founded with the merger of the Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations (FIYTO) and the International Student Travel Confederation (ISTC), and included in its constitution its commitment to maintain the position of the World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC) as the world’s leading business-to-business trade fair and professional conference for organisations specialising in youth, student and educational travel.
