The conference entitled "Interpreting World Heritage 2007:
Facing Changes and Challenges in Interpretation to Adapt and Grow"
will be held 25-29 March, 2007 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The National Association for Interpretation (NAI) will host this
second annual international conference on the subject of heritage
interpretation.
The conference will bring together 150-200 delegates from 30-40
nations in an effort to create opportunities for professional development
for attendees and establish a network for professional associations
and individuals involved in heritage interpretation around the world.
We have organized a panel discussion (attached Word file for conference
Proceedings volume) on the topic of "Toward International
Standards and Definitions for Interpretation and Presentation of
Cultural Heritage Sites," that is scheduled for Monday,
26 March, 2007, 1:45-3:45 pm, Dundarave room, Marriott Pinnacle
Vancouver Downtown. We anticipate a lively discussion, and we hope
you can attend.
