ABSTRACT

Thang Long ­ Hanoi is almost 1000 years old. The long history of the city is visible through the tangible and intangible cultural heritages as well. In this writing, we would like to present a method of study that approach one by one of cultural heritages but as a whole.
Writing this paper, we start from an idea that there is a real urban architecture heritage, of which Thang Long ­ Hanoi is one representative. We try to present all details of this concept, which are used also to identify architectural heritages of Thang Long ­ Hanoi.
We also give out some recommendations for conservation and promotion of Thang Long ­ Hanoi architecture heritages.
